I'm not really sure why, but I always liked the name James.
But really - I think the best names are those that are in common use will cause less problems for the child. Also the names that have established nick names are good.
The current trend to just mix a bunch of letters together is strange to me.
Good wholesome names like:
Robert, Bob
John, Jack
James, Jim
Francis, Frank
Howard, Hank
Geoffrey, Jeff
Peter, Pete
Gregory, Greg
William, Bill
Albert, Al
Bradford, Brad
Charles, Chuck
Daniel, Dan
Edward, Ed
Zackeria, Zack
Zebulan, Zeb
Izekiel, Zeke
And the list can go on and on……
