Since Jenn and I started dating in September of 2007, and since neither of us has shown any interest in a whirlwind romance/marriage, it is funny to see how many people assume we are married.

At least ten times over the last three months, people from distant relatives (a young cousin Jenn hadn't seen in several months) to newly-met friends (you know who you are) to complete strangers refer to Jenn as my wife. If I wasn't that teeny bit commitment-phobic, it would truly be hilarious.

That said, it was also a great weekend from my perspective. The skirted nutcracker (no apron, thus not a kilt) is going to be a fun project for all involved. Think in terms of "traveling gnome" pictures in a thread on BotK.
