All,

It's not a flashy gaming event, but more of a celebration of the Scottish influence on coastal Georgia. Gen. Oglethorpe brought a group of Highlanders to what is now Darien in 1736. The heritage day is a 'merchant-ivory' anacronistic event, but still a fine production - including a Spanish assault on the fort (this part of Georgia was, for a time, the extreme southern end of the colonies). Besides after the event, there are great seafood restaurants in the general area.
