Posting on behalf of our friends in Louisville. We played with the Louisville band from 1995 until around 2004, after the band formed in Lexington. I'm sure you will have a wonderful evening! In case you would like to know, the Louisville Pipe band wears the Ancient Henderson tartan.

March 28 at 8 p.m., in the Bomhard Theater, The Louisville Pipe Band will share the stage with World Class Piper Alasdair Gillies as part of its Spring Concert. Irish Dancers from McClannahan’s School of Dance and Ashley Gentry from Cincinnati Scots Highland Dance will perform, too.

Good Tickets are still available ($17.50). Please call the Kentucky Center Box Office at 502-584-7777 or toll free 800-775-7777. Save on additional handling charges by visiting the Kentucky Center Box at 501 W Main or use the drive-thru service on Main between Fifth and Sixth Streets. Student and senior citizen prices available.

Alasdair Gillies is past pipe major with the Queen's Own Highlanders, six-time winner of the Glenfiddich Championship MSR and ten-time winner of the Inverness Former Winners MSR, more than any piper in history.
