Just signed up. Been wearing kilts since I was about 12 years old. Though never actually owned my own. Always had them issued by pipe bands and later by the army. Just bought a stillwater kilt. Simply cause it was cheap! I figured 80 bucks worst case I would just wear it around the house or in the garden. You do get what you pay for. There is no taper which makes it less flattering, as well I'm afraid to sit down in it as I'm pretty sure it'll rinkle really quickly. I'd love to get a nice 13oz 8 yarder in my family tartan but $600 to $700 is not always easy to come by. Sooner then later I suppose.
