    I wouldn't want to be mistaken for something I am not.

    I did notice something today. I was out heeping leaves and other things on a compost pile while the wind was blowing. I was wearing a straw hat, and the wind kept catching the brim and almost removing it. I don't have that problem with a flat cap. They seem to fit better. Don't worry, I wasn't wearing a kilt.

    I'm guessing most of the people in my neighborhood wear ball caps, but several do wear the "cowboy" style hat. There's probably even a few mexican hats out there, but most people wear hats because of the sun out here in the desert.
