I don't normally watch Martha Stewart, but my mother-in-law emailed me to tell me she saw something about tartan was going to be on today's show.

The authors of Tartan: Romancing the Plaid were on her show. They had various tartan and plaid objects, including a beautiful gown and a cute skirt outfit. I heard something about kilt mentioned once, but I think it was in reference to the gown which had a bit of leather on it in the back (probably as a bit of support at the waist for the lovely waterfall-style train) that reminded the designer of a kilt.

Then they recovered some footstools with tartan and plaid fabric.

Just thought that was interesting!
