Let me add another Stillwater success story to the mix.

My choir's biggest event of the year is our annual concert at the local performing arts center. We wear all black for most of our shows. Now during the year I usually wear a rather casual black kilt but I dress up for this one. Due to an unfortunate accident my good black kilt was ruined...on Wednesday May 14. And the concert was fast approaching on May 17...Yikes!

I hopped onto the Stillwater Kilts site and discovered they had a black wool kilt (one size up from mine but an easy alteration.) Lots easier than making a new kilt! Especially when I was busy memorizing music. So I placed my order for the wool kilt as well as black economy model (for future gigs) at...gulp. 4:11 pm Wednesday my time. That means 6:11 pm Jerry's time in Minnesota. I emailed him and said I sure hoped the wormhole was open that day!

I received, in addition to my usual automated confirmation emails, a personal note from Jerry that he was leaving a ten minutes to take my order to the central mailing area at the airport.

Sure enough my kilts, flashes, and a bonus hanger thrown in for good measure, all arrived safe and sound Friday May 16, in plenty of time for me to get it ready for dress rehearsal and performance.

Just wanted to publicly thank Jerry for his smooth service, for keeping me in the loop and for his extra effort in getting my kilts to me.

Thanks, Jerry!

PS if I ever get this new photo posting system down I'll put up a pic of me on stage with (ahem) an accordion and Stillwater kilt.
