Lookin to make the DIY jump... maybe...
So next year I will be graduating Nursing school. Yes a man in nursing school, and one that enjoys kilts... Gasp... Anywho... I have been away from here basically since I joined this forum, due in large part to school, and the lack of funds because of same. I attended the graduation of this years class, and had an epiphany: We need to wear all white. Style matters little, just so long as it looks nice. Some folks were in white scrubs, others in white dress pants and a nice white dress shirt. I think if I could rock an all white Kilt it would be an Epic event. My Web-Fu is strong, and I even found a thread here talking about white kilts, or more specifically, why not a white kilt. No one sells them. But given a little practice i could make one. Only thing is, I have mentioned this to my buddies (Yes more men in nursing...heh) and they would be IN too, thing is, I don't wanna make theirs, though I could to theirs first, and mine last... I am just torn. Do I make them, get them to help, or find someplace to make them? The material I have in mind is something painfully white and crisp, like table linen. Am I insane?
Sorry for the long winded post, and thanks for any replies.
