Greetings from Colorado
Hello all,
Ok, technically, I posted a couple of threads before coming to this thread, but time to introduce myself.
Kevin, aka, Birddog, from Peyton, Colorado. I am of very old Irish blood, with a bit of Scot and English thrown in, not to mention a number of others from the mothers side.
Just ordered my first tank. My kilt wearing experience thus far has been a hideous renn fair affair that shall never be touched again, save for burning for survival. My next was my SK, which I was sickened to find cost as much as an SWK. It's not all that bad, but the SWK seem superior from my reading.
My tank is going to be the US Marines "Leatherneck" tartan, like my SK. I'm a Marine now serving the US Air Force. First and always, a Marine. Next year I will look into ordering the Air Force tartan.
I look forward to learning a great deal from all of you, and look forward to joining my fellow Coloradoans proudly wearing the kilt. Now I just need to get my kilt here, wear it to the pub, and raise a pint of Guinness to all of you.
Slainte!
