I got mine today and it was a nice wee present after a long journey to London and back for some surgery stuff.
I am surprised by just how high the quality is. None of the usual 'bendy' pewter that you get in crests of a similar price. These are solid, heavy, well made and they look good.
Here's a picture of it on my Macdonald modern Kilt next to my more usual Kilt pin. (Which is just under 4 inches long.)
I'll post some better pictures of it on my cap and with me in the picture later.
