I'm about to make a large bulk order within the next month for the Sonoran Scotsmen to get a bunch of kilts.

We're going to be ordering 20: 11oz 8yard worsted wool kilts from Scotweb in the (currently being designed by Scotweb) Sonoran Scotsmen Tartan.

We live here in Arizona where 1/2 of our year is hotter than 100 degrees with usually over a month or two at 110+.

This has been a project long in the works and I know that the 13oz would probably be a better choice, but I fear that most the members of the Sonoran Scotsmen aren't ready to spend that kind of cash. I've read all your opinions on the difference in weights and I think I feel a little better now hearing that many of you like your 11oz kilts and actually own more than one.

Any additional thoughts you all have on this topic would be GREATLY appreciated at this point. We're about to spend a LOT of money and I want to make sure that we'll be happy with the weight of the product.

I know that Scotweb makes fantastic kilts so I'm not worried about the craftsmenship. They've also been amazing at their customer service and working with me on everything so far. Thanks in advance for any input you all may have.
