While I actually agree that UK customer service does not always have the greatest reputation (and I am UK wearer), I can't help but note that in this thread you describe buying a denim cut UK at their Seattle store back in June, and apparently wearing it out and about. If this is the same kilt, IMO you can't fault them for not accepting it for return unless there was some manufacturing defect that you couldn't discover when you bought it.

yes, and funny how it went from 'nice folks at UK' in the original post to this 'never buy from them again' rant.
Specially when common sense dictates you return the merchandise as is, not washed!
