Christina Young Tartan
I just had to share this pic of my DD wearing her Christina Young tartan. It was made for her just last year and she wore it at the Halifax Highland Games two weeks ago for the first time in competition.
This tartan is taken from an arisaide woven in 1725. It has been officially adopted by the Young Clan as their Dress Tartan (just last year I think). It's very rare to find a kilt made from this tartan. My DD is only one of three dancers worldwide (that I know of) wearing this kilt for dancing.
