thanks for the comments men, i will look into slick the edges, as for the leather, no idea what it was. cost me $2.50 at an emporium for a sq meter of it, so not a bad deal...
All comments and critique's are welcome, as it is a working process and the will all be viewed with the objective of completing a nice product, so to speak.
