I think I've seen this group's CD in the store, but tonite they were on PBS as part of the fall fund drive. I was very impressed with the quality of the show and the mens' singing. It struck me as the male version of Celtic Woman, but with testosterone, and a sense of humor as well. They sang a range of songs from a gaelic ballad to Mull of Kintyre to Desperado to Puppy Love (remember Donny?) sung by the 16 year old member. Guitar players were wearing cool-looking black kilts, hose, and shirts. For Mull they brought out pipes and drums to accompany. For the last number, though, the group of 5 all came out dressed in identical 3-piece outfits from TFCK, and they loojed smashing. The kilt pins were the giveaway. Keep an eye out for your local
PBS beg-a-thon to catch this show.

The group is starting a 40+ city tour of the U.S. I decided to pledge (I usually do anyway) to get the 2 tickets they were giving out to their Atlanta show November 15. Hmmm. What should I wear?
