Thats a hell of a move. what draws you down there?
My home town is Invercargill, (2.5 hrs south of duners) another fine scottish settlement, and my brother is currently part of the constabulary there (duners). (our family settled in otago, then moved down to southland). one of the rellies started the invercargill pipeband and caledonian society and built some of the first buildings in that town (invers). the accent of the poeple in the south is different from the rest of NZ, it still has leftovers RRRR's in any of the words which is the influence of all the scots settlers.

you will love it there, we will have to catch up for a speights, as i am frequently down there for work and family occassions...(its only a 3 hour flight top to bottom)
