I have to agree with McMurdo "they do not hang the same, they do not swing the same and they do not hold a pleat the same way" and that's the very reason why I wear a kilt. I just don't like the way lightweight kilts look and feel, casual or traditional. Kilts can be a significant investment, but I would rather wear them out than let the moths eat them or have the closet shrink them. I’m not saving my kilt for my sons or anything else, it provides me joy and I return the favor by keeping it out in the daylight as much as I can.
