Apprenticeship availability?
I've attempted to contact several professional kilt makers both here in the US and in Scotland via email or PM but I thought I would post a thread in case others also wished to know the same information.
I'd like to attain an apprenticeship with a kilt maker (either in the US or UK) so I can go and live there and learn by doing. I've made modern versions like UtiliKilts and a few XKilts and have Barb's excellent book as a guide for the traditional woolen variants.
Anybody have any advice or like to share any stories of their journeys as an apprentice?
