"horse hair sporrans"
In the "GENERAL" Section there is was a discussion on "Horse Hair" Sporrans.
http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/h...x.html?t=29018
Here are some of my thoughts on the subject.
1.NOT all "Horse Hair" Sporrans are "PIPER" Style. Incl. Military.
2.Contrary to many of the posts, I saw, many of these are VERY functional. They DO have ample "pouches"
Here is an Example - This is a 1981 ISSUE Day offerer's Sporran. (Seaforth (Can) ( NOTE- This was given to me by a member of the unit. When I wear it, the Seaforth officer's Sporran badge is replaced with a "civilian" Badge. Also the Buckle is "issue")
1. Overall Dementias = 12" long x 6 1/2" wide
2. "Pouch" Dimensions = 8 1/2" long x 6 1/2" wide with 2" gusset.
LOTS of ROOM.
Do I wear this ?? Occasionally ( Dress & occasions with my Seaforth friends)
