The best thing about these cheap home built kilts, is that i won't feel bad when i go to the super 14 ruggers next year wearing it (Highlanders supporter), spill speights on it, get bottled (seriously i took one in the eye a couple of years ago, from, I swear she was 8 years old, her father sat down fairly quickly and reprimanded her...lucky for him) random pies and hot chips thrown at me in the terraces...

completed a Black Watch X kilt (when i say me, i mean, that i did the marking out, cutting and the ironing, the better half did all the manual labour of machining...) , cost me 40 NZD for the material (had velcro left from previous x kilts), and have enough to make one for a mate who is shorter, sorry about the pics, i found my web cam can actually show the tartan, where as the digi camera shows it all black.








still needs an iron and a de chalking, but thats by the by...
