It's official: I'm now a skirt maker
Yesterday, my wife and I went to the fabric store. While I was waiting for the fabric to be cut, the associate asked if I sewed. Usually, I say "Yes, I am a kiltmaker" Kiltmaking is a manly hobby/past time, isn't it? But now I am making a skirt for my wife and all I can say now is "Yes, I sew." My wife pipes up, but he doesn't cook.
Like that's going to make me feel good about sewing.
When I start sewing it was only for kiltmaking and jacket modifications. I am now in the process of making a skirt for my wife. The only thing that makes it a kilt type skirt is that I am adding a few pleats (12) to the front and 12 to the back to ease the bottom of the skirt for flaring while walking. I am happy to make her a skirt as I think it will come out well. Just hope my manhood can stand the sewing/skirt thingy.
So, now I am a skirt maker. :crap: :beer:Now!
