We had a special celebration at our dance studio for New Years Eve and many of us dressed up, including me. I am here to testify that one can dance the tango and cha cha in a kilt, even if it is a bit cross-cultural. It is also good that I followed the advise of Scottish dancers and wore something under the kilt. Apparently, when one does the walk around in the cha cha, one can put on a bit of a show. One of the ladies I danced with did comment that she was jealous because my kilt swirled better than her skirt. I'm also a bit proud that this was the first time I had tied my own bow tie and I think it turned out pretty good.
We're fools whether we dance or not, so we might as well dance. - Japanese Proverb
