I also held a practising certificate in law in Scotland, for 35 years until October 2008, but I quit because the cost of subsidising other people's negligence and incompetence kept going up and up, Law Society subs, Guarantee Fund, P.I.Insurance and Complaints Commission Levy. I'm a bit young to be retired so planning to learn a new skill.
