I have a shirt made of ancient MacLean of Duart tartan, made of viyella. I purchased it from Ben Silver a couple of years ago. They no longer carry MacLean, but shirts of many tartans and checks may be found at Dann Mens Clothing:

I've purchased quite a number of shirts from them over the years and am very pleased with them.
They also sell tartan dressing gowns!
