I received in my inbox today an e-mail from iTunes detailing some featured podcasts, and one of them happened to be "Science from the Sporran"! It is a video podcast featuring some "uncovered old film reels" in which a man in a PC coat, kilt, and horse hair sporran discover basic scientific principles and demonstrate them. It's a bit cheesy, but it's a guy in a kilt, and definitely worth taking a look at. They claim there is more to see at nakedscientists.com, although I've not been there yet.

Watch, have a good laugh, and enjoy another kilt wearer being promoted!
