Back on the River
First river trip this year. Beautiful day for it. Great time. Took my cousin from Montana and her friend.
Boatman/guide/pilot enjoyed the kilt from when we were first walking down from the dam and he was out midstream...he called it "Native dress" in honor of St. Patrick's Day tomorrow - he from a long line of Irishmen. Let him roll with it rather than get picky.
Got a couple shots by my cousin. First at Petroglyph Beach, second at Lees Ferry at the end of the trip.

The venue is Glen Canyon of the Colorado River, Arizona. Kilt is USA Kilts semi-trad in Macdonald tartan.
Bottom pic is looking downsteam to the Lees Ferry launch ramp where down canyon raft trips outfit and leave from. Background is Marble Canyon.
Just felt really really good to be back on the river.
