Jones by proxy
Today I ordered (in just the last few minutes) my son's Easter gift, a SWK childrens' small Irish National kilt. He is 4, and that is what he picked out. Not a Gordon like I have, nor a MacDonald, like his ancestors on his mother's side, he wanted and was dead set on the Irish National, and I can't remember him having ANY Irish ancestors. I added in a sporran for him, so he could have a real one, instead of his 'pocket' (a sporran I made him from two back pockets off an old pair of jeans.)
He doesn't know I ordered them, but he knows I have a mail box at the post office, and I have told him that the mail in the box is his, since only a few junk pieces comes to it, but I needed if for my hot sauce business, and he likes to see if he has any mail whenever we are at the post office. He will be really surprised to find an object for him (a claim ticket, no way the box is going to fit in there) with his name on it at the post office.
I'm getting that jonseing feeling already. Hey, am I suposed to let my 4 year old catch up to me on the number of kilts he has? After this, he will have 2 and I have 4, oh dear....
