Help in translating and pronunciation to Gaelic
On Pentecost Sunday we are going to "speak in tongues." We are all going to read the following in different languages. I said I would do Gaelic, is that what the old Scottish language was? If not translated to what I should be saying and let me know. Since I wear a kilt I said I would have someone translate to me the following and also some pronunciation. It probably won't matter if I make mistakes as there will be many of us reading at once in different languages.
>>Acts 2.1 -4 When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And Suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.<<
If you want to message me privately you can. I don't want a bunch of translations or pronunciations. Thanks very much. Needed by May 22, so I can practice.
DALE.
You don't have to be Scottish to be comfortable!
