Kilt Night / AZ / Seamus McCafferys / August 1st!
Greetings everyone. The Sonoran Scotsmen are looking to plan our next Kilt Night, and I thought we could use the light rail to our advantage this time. Most of us in the East Valley don't want to drive too far, especially after we've had some drinks, and I think the same goes for most of our west side peeps. So, I figured we could compromise, have a big joint kilt night at Seamus McCaffery's in downtown Phoenix, and we can try and use the Light Rail to our advantage as well since there is a stop nearby to the pub.
So, our plan is to get together on August 1st (no longer July 18th) at Seamus McCaffery's in downtown Phoenix. Seamus McCafferys is located at 18 W. Monroe.
They have an awesome Scotch selection if you've never been there. Check out their menu online. It's very extensive.

I figure the east side folks can meet at one of the Light Rail stops (to be determined which one) around 7:00pm, have everyone load into one of the rail cars, and safely take a trip downtown. Afterwards we all take the light rail safely back home. If there is a nearby stop on the west side, that'd be awesome, but I don't know where everyone lives.
I don't know if there is a band or not playing on August 1st. I checked their website but it's not updated that far ahead.
Please respond and let me know what you all think about this idea.
Slainte!
