Jacket to wear with Navy tartan

I agree.

I don't think that wear with civilian clothes is authorized under the uniform regs, but that doesn't seem to phase most people.

I have been out of the military for 15 years, but my understanding is the jacket is no longer a uniform item if you change the buttons and remove all insignia.
