Several air shows taking place in northern England and central Scotland, Carlisle airport was busy all day Saturday with various old warbirds calling in for fuel and servicing while on the display circuit. Here the Spitfire and Hurricane perform a low flypast. This will be particularly poignant for Riverkilt whose father flew Hawker Hurricanes from this airfield during World War 2.
