Ok, Ok, I know kilts are for men. I tried that argument for the past four years, but a wise woman friend pulled me aside after a rant about kilts are for men and told me that I would end up making one for Mrs. Eujeankilt. Deep down I knew she was right. This year we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and so I gave her a coupon good for the kilt of her choice. She chose a poly/cotton twill in tan, probably a 10 or 11 oz weight. She also chose box pleats and cargo pockets. I bought the fabric a month or so ago and this week-end I built it for her. I based on our own Alan H's X-kilt with modifications. Ladies and gentlemen of X-Marks, I present to you Mrs. Eujeankilt in her first Eujean Kilt. You might notice a bit of red on the pleat edges-I use colored pencil to mark the pleats up. (So far it has washed right out of other kilts I have made.) Obviously, I haven't washed the this kilt yet. She's tickled to wear it.

Pleat shot with pocket.

With a little attitude.
