It was time to leave Pitlochry. Departing my hotel the Ascarsaid, I had only good feelings of it. Their breakfasts are to die for. I highly recommend the hotel to any future travelers to Pitlochry.

The last four days had been completely chock-a-block, yet there were things left not done. Didn’t see a show at the theater, missed the fish ladder, and didn’t have the time to take the walking path to the world’s smallest distillery, Edradour. That last one would hit real hard in two days time. Sir William it was his favorite single malt and couldn’t get it on our side of the pond. Definitely need to come back. My time with the Donnachaidh Clan had been smashing. They are an excellent group of folks. The first of my four part journey was closed.
