Where ought a kilt come to?

I agree with the "top of the kneecap to the middle of the kneecap" rule. Higher looks odd, lower looks slovenly.

About 2" higher is very comfortable in hot weather.

Can't help it, I prefer the kilt to come to the bottom of the knee.

And that length is indeed welcome in cold weather, especially if it's also heavy wool.

You know, if your kilt was half an inch too long, or too short...well...

You'll just have to delete your membership in X Marks, turn in your flashes, burn the family geneology, and surrender your firstborn to the altar of the kilt police.

Tell us, Alan, is there any possible way to persuade you to exaggerate anything?
