Winter Hose Advice
Heading into my first kilted winter here in Michigan, I find myself searching for warm kilt hose. All the threads on cold weather kilt wear say: "good thick hose." Unfortunately I couldn't a post where examples where given.
After reading through the threads on kilt hose, it seems the Lewis hose are very popular for comfort and durability, while what little was said about warmth and thickness seemed to be conflicting.
So I turn to the rabble for advice. Are the Lewis hose the way to go for the subfreezing months? Will the standard 70% - 80% wool hose be warmer? If so where can I find a good thick pair?
Thanks to everyone for the many, many times I found the answer to my question without needing to make a post!
