If you want brewery tours then look no further than Asheville. It was recently voted as the best microbrewery Town in the US.
Here are some of the breweries and what they have:
Asheville Brewing Company: Houdini ESP is an extra special pale ale that’s slightly hoppy with a crisp finish. Or, if you prefer a darker beer, try the Scout Stout, a rich stout with a smooth, creamy finish.
French Broad River Brewing Company: Try a few of the brewery’s award-winning beers including the Marzen Amber Lager, a copper colored, Oktoberfest style beer, or the Wee Heavy-er Scotch-style Ale, a high-gravity beer that’s malty, toasty, and sweet.
Green Man Brewing: New brews are crafted regularly, but there are a few regular favorites. Try the extra hoppy India Pale Ale is an amber ale flavored with English malts and strong in flavor, or the Gold Ale, an English-style summer ale that’s mildly hoppy.
My Favorite- Highland Brewing Company: The award-winning flagship brew is Gaelic Ale, a malty, amber ale. The seasonal Cold Mountain Winter Ale is malty in body and finished with spices that change each year to year.
Pisgah Brewing Company: New to the area brewing scene is this all-organic brewer. Try the Pisgah Solstice, a Belgian-style ale, or the darkest ale, the rich and smooth Pisgah Porter.
