This has been mentioned in another thread that perhaps not all members will have looked at so I thought it perhaps useful to start a new thread about SCD.

I dance in Edinburgh with the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS), where there are classes from beginners to very advanced and I have ed at various locations throughout the UK.

The RSCDS can be found at rscds.org. There are links to groups throughout the world and links to other areas of interest such as books, events etc.

You may wish to look also at scottishdance.net which gives lots of information about dancing, including events and other resources, throughout the UK.
