Tewksbury Wait
I purchased a nice quantity of remnant tartan last year (thanks to a fellow Xer's hint) and sat on it while I saved my money.
After a year-and-a-half--yes, youngsters, this is not instant gratification--I have just ordered a new kilt from Barbara Tewksbury. I sent the fabric to her yesterday, and I'll get the kilt in February . . .or thereabout.
Talk about jonesing! This will be the way in which I slow down the pace at which I am aging!
Janet Eagleton is working with me on a new day sporran (pray for her; her mother has a terminal illness), and I am looking at new ties and pocket squares.
You can imagine how very young I will be able to stay over the next 4 months as the time drags. I'll one day have a new Ulster tartan kilt to show you guys.
