How does an Argyll jacket look?

I'm afraid I would have to send the jacket back from whence it came if there were not "working" buttonholes, regardless of whether I do up the jacket or not!

Now, false buttonholes on evening doublets are another matter.

I've seen quite a number of argyll jackets that just have the single button on the right and no hole on the left.
