US source for heavy PV?
Hi all,
I've been off of X-marks for what seems like forever. Well, now I'm back and I finally learned and became competent in the use of a sewing machine I purchased a few years back. I've got some twill fabric I intend to use to make a basic X-kilt. I want to experiment around with tartan fabric for a non-traditional type of kilt, possibly X-kilt design but also possibly just traditional design with attached pockets. Where do you guys buy your PV fabric (in heavier weights of course)? I tried searching the forums and can't seem to find any info on where to actually buy PV fabric. Also, I can never seem to find any decent tartan fabric at the walk-in fabric stores. It's always either too lightweight or just seriously ugly tartan patterns.
