Now there's an idea. I've carved a few things, like tools for ceramics and bowls, out of coconut shell. Somewhere around here, I even made a bonsai pot out of one. The wood polishes up real nice.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
