Ann's first outing since before the snows arrived four weeks ago, and I had the use of a wheelchair accessible vehicle for the day. Here awaiting loading up outside Stirches House. Ann's room is the lowest window on the left.
As I am not yet fully recovered from my DVT and had found the previous outing much too strenuous, I hired my part-time domestic, Diane, for an extra day to come along and help. Only forty miles from Hawick, on the Solway coast at Gretna, the snow does not lie on the ground as long as it does further inland and there was only a shallow deposit from earlier in the morning.
The group shot with John and Yvonne at the shopping mall.
Snow presents a slipping hazard, it needs to be fenced off on health and safety grounds
That's all folks.
