Another Boot Thread...
Hey guys, new to X Marks, found the place while looking for new boots to wear with my kilt.
I currently wear a UK Survival. I live in Montana, and usually wear my hiking boots, some Montrail olive and black boots that work pretty well, but I like the look of a taller lace up boot.
So I found some that I like the look of here

The question I have is what the 11" or 8" refers to on the boot description. From where to where is the measurement taken. THis would help in figuring out an idea of where the boot comes to on the leg since the pictures don't have a model wearing them for scale.
Thanks guys!
