As for the measurements, Leslie (my wife) took them in October and it would seem that between then and actually getting the kilt, I lost about 10 lbs... Great beginning to my weight loss/toning goal but a nightmare on custom garments.
Just be glad you're not like a local piper who lost 43 lbs between the time he ordered the kilt and the time he picked it up 4 months after it was completed (6 months from the initial order date). His wife almost KILLED him when the kilt fell of at the tightest setting. My response was simply "you shouldn't get measured for a custom garment and then go on a diet and lose 40 Lbs b/c the new garment won't fit". A few tweeks and we got it fiting 'pretty well', but he definitely learned a lesson.
