This is not the knot I show how to tie in our video (which you can see here).
The knot being asked about is much more decorative. I used to know how to tie it, once upon a time, but it's been so long I think I'd have trouble now.
Bob Martin had a "how-to" article once upon a time describing how to tie a couple of different styles of garter knots, including this one. I should have a copy of it in a file at the museum. I'll see about digging it up...
Exactly right, Matt. Saw itn on their site and have searcheed high and low for instructions to no avail. It'd be great if we could add it to the "how to" library here, if you find it.
