Sherwood Forest Faire 3/28
Last Sunday (3/28) Mrs.Z and I made another trip out to the New Sherwood Forest Faire near Austin Texas. It was a very nice spring day, sunny and mild, if a little breezy. This new faire is coming along great, and I noticed quite a few improvements and additions since my trip out there for opening day. We mostly looked in the shops all day, so I didn't get than many pictures this time, but I have a few I'd like to share....
Soon after arriving I ran into an X-Marker; Lethearen from Dallas.
My wife makes friends with one of the joust horses.
Shelley in one of the little gardens that are popping up around the grounds.
A fairy teaparty for the kiddies in the Seven Sisters, our stone circle.
There is a broken off tree near the stone circle, and a couple of weeks after opening day an artist with a chainsaw created this "Fairy Throne" out of it.
And of course I took in a Circa Paleo show..
And I run into another X-Marker, Trifin.
The dragon wishing well.
That's it for this trip, Sherwood faire is open till Easter weekend (4/4), but I think we'll be putting the faire garb away for this season, at least till the opening of the 2010 Texas Ren Fest in October.
