Greetings All,

My good wife has been trying to aid in my efforts to lose weight by telling me that I must wait until I lose weight before adding a new Kilt to the Kollection.

However, about two weeks ago, as we were getting out of the car she looked over at my SWK Standard and looking at the pilling of the acrylic said "You really should get a new kilt." The words were no sooner out of her mouth and I began telling her that I had been thinking about getting an USA Kilts Casual kilt. She looked back and said "I guess I'll have to be more careful about what I say."

Well, after emailing Roger, and getting some swatches (Wow, for those who have not seen or handled the Marton Mills PV material, it is amazing fabric) I have pulled the trigger on a USA Kilts Casual Kilt in the Holyrood tartan.

When deciding on the tartan to order, my wife who has been sewing since her youth, was also very impressed with the fabric and noted that it will make for a much more durable kilt than the acrylic fabrics of 8 of my current kilts.

So as has been said before, let the jonesing begin.....

Cheers,

Marshal Moroni
