My new MacMillan Kilt
Being a sept of this clan, this kilt has great meaning. We have always been told to pleat this tartan to "the blood" to commemorate the time when the son's of Maolan shed each other's blood during the uprisings when they found each other under different banners. It should be noted that this tartan is not recognized by the Chief, so this fable is something that is not general amongst MacMillans (Many in Georgia pleat it this way, thus the story is propegated-how romantic) This is an 8 yard PV made in the traditional style. I will give full details on it in a day or 2, but I'm not quite a paid advertiser yet, so enjoy the pictures of this fantastic kilt pleated to the"blood". I will be wearing tomorrow with full dress to honor the day. And yes, in the warm months, I wear no hose and sandals..Thats just me. (Sorry about the crappy photos-I dropped my camera and am having to use my little hackintosh mini computer's web cam)
