The local athletics groups has in the past organized an informal day at the Stumptown Brewery in Guerneville. The party was "on" this year. The day was full of non-traditional events like the Stumptown Stone, thrown for distance off a 4-foot berm! :LOL:...the open stone was thrown that way, too. AMAZING I notched a 2-foot PR! The men threw the 28'er for height, the women threw the 20. We tossed some 16 pound sheaf and then had a caber-shootout where you started with the smallest womens caber and worked up to a good, solid 18 foot "A" stick. You had one shot at each. I "went out" at the 16' 6" 92 pounder. I **allll-most** turned it. That's the stick I turned twice at Woodland. Anyway, the venue is gorgeous....on to the pictures!
